Cape Town has the privilege of hosting 8 games during the 2010 fifa world cup and will play host to many thousands of visiting football fans and the worlds sporting media. The opening game of the World Cup for Cape Town will be played on the 11th June and the closing game for the mother city, a semi final, will be played on the 6th July.
